About Us

D + M Sports Ltd evolved from the "Bowled Over" specialist lawn bowls retail business which was first established in Spalding, Lincolnshire in 1998. In early 2003 the "Bowled Over" business moved to a large prime retail site near the centre of Spalding, and D + M Sports Ltd was established to meet the general sports equipment needs of the local community.

Whilst still maintaining an active interest in lawn bowls equipment, it is the general sports side of the business that has grown dramatically. At the outset we were determined not to be a retailer  of branded sports clothing and general footwear (trainers) which so many "sports retailers" seem to be. Our footwear are specific to their sports ... rugby, football, bowls, cricket, hockey and indoor/outdoor racket sports. Our success has been through specialising in actual sports equipment whether rackets for squash, badminton or tennis, rugby, football, snooker, swimming ... the list is endless .      

 Through this strategy we have seen sports develop as our specialist areas and darts is a prime example of this. We are proud to launch this dedicated darts web-site and this will be closely followed by our general sports equipment web-site which will cater for all the other sports we are involved in.
